Our Objectives
- To foster the preservation and restoration of buildings and settings of historical, architectural and aesthetic interest in the Shire of York;
- To encourage the study, writing and publication of the history of the area;
- To collect, classify and preserve records relating to the history of York and districts;
- To support any museum relevant to these objects;
- To promote and facilitate cultural activities in York;
- To facilitate the exchange of information through lectures, websites or other internet pages, exhibitions, readings and discussions relevant to these objects;
- To promote social gatherings which foster these objects.
